DynamIQ is powering the next wave of innovation through unprecedented design flexibility and more compute processing for intelligent solutions. It combines big and LITTLE CPUs into a single, fully integrated cluster. The result is many new and enhanced benefits in power and performance for all devices, including wearables, XR, mobile devices, large-screen compute, automotive, and infrastructure.

The Arm DynamIQ Shared Unit also enables the split-lock capability in Arm Automotive Enhanced (AE) CPUs. Built for functional safety use cases, the AE variants of the DynamIQ Shared Unit enable post-silicon flexibility for AE CPUs to switch between split, hybrid, and lock operating modes. This makes the AE CPU cluster suitable for a broad range of safety standards, including quality management (QM), ISO 26262 ASIL B or ASIL D, or IEC 61508 SIL 3. It also enables silicon designers to take an approach of “design once, use across many applications”.

DynamIQ Shared Unit-120AE

Enabling DynamIQ for Armv9.2 AE CPUs, with expanded support for up to 14 cores in a single cluster (with no additional restriction on the number of big or LITTLE cores) and up to 32MB L3. Alongside performance scalability, it also introduces new power management features.
