- Custom ASIC 'Dev Chip' increases performance of high-bandwidth peripherals
- One-board software development system with comprehensive feature set
- Optional and expandable FPGA prototyping via LogicTiles
(View Larger Versatile Platform Baseboards Image)The following ARM processors are currently supported by the Platform Baseboard format:
Platform Baseboards utilize custom-designed 'Development Chip' ASICs to give higher bus and memory throughput than the EB + CT solution. The performance increase is achieved by placing the high-bandwidth peripherals such as memory and graphics controllers close to the ARM core, inside the main system ASIC rather than in an adjacent FPGA.
