The ARM Linux Mobile Platform aims to provide an environment that enables an enriching browsing experience on ARM powered devices. In this regard, ARM and its partners are enabling an open source Linux platform that includes a Mozilla Firefox web browser along with all of the necessary Plug-Ins. The software stack on an ARM powered connected mobile computing device is shown below. 
ARM is enabling the development of the following portion of the software stack. - A port of Mozilla Firefox web browser along with all necessary Plug-Ins.
- Integration of an open source input methods module (SCIM) that can support multiple languages and input methods.
- Integration with a Gstreamer multimedia framework.
- Develop a connectivity module to provide graphical control of wireless and wired Ethernet connectivity.
- Develop a device state manager responsible for battery management, sleep mode etc.
- Use X11, GTK+ for generic ARM platforms.
