On-site Services

On-site Services Image
ARM® Active Assist provides a set of targeted on and off-site team assistance packages, designed to accelerate the adoption of ARM expertise, get teams designing faster and communicating more effectively, reduce design iteration, and help build confidence in final designs.

ARM also provides on-site training services

With System-on-Chip (SoC) complexity increasing, design teams need to focus on what delivers differentiation within their system. At the same time, there are common challenges to many of these designs:

Significant experience within ARM supports these common building blocks. Active Assist provides access to ARM engineering experience at various project stages, offering a 'best practices' approach to next generation designs.

Active Assist addresses tangible project 'Hot Spots' in a typical SoC design flow:

Active Assist services apply to subsystems built using the following:

Design Reviews can be performed during the following Project Stages:

  • System Architecture Definition
  • RTL Sign-Off
  • Silicon Implementation Sign-Off - Particularly for Physical IP, such as ARM PHY products.

Debug Assist can be provided during the following Project Stages:

  • Prototype System Bring-Up
  • Post Silicon Platform Bring-Up.

Design Review Format

  1. Initial review calls to define the scope of the engagement and gather necessary information
  2. Four days on-site
  3. Written report follow-up after 2 weeks containing observations and recommendations.

Debug Assist Format

  1. Initial review calls to understand the debug platform and gather necessary information
  2. Two days on-site
  3. Two weeks of follow-up support
