What Are Single-Board Computers and Modules?
A single-board computer (SBC) combines a processor, memory, input and output, and other features on a single board. There are many advantages for using SBCs, including accelerated time-to-market with proven hardware that you don’t have to manufacture.
Modules provide a complete hardware and software integrated solution. They are typically used in communication products or for a very specific applications that benefit from a pre-verified hardware and software combination to implement an industry standard. Module companies use a variety of systems and platforms so you can find the right solution for your specific requirements.
