It consumes less active power compared to the Cortex-A7,while delivering performance enhancements in the range of 6% to 40% across key mobile workloads.

The Cortex-A35 can be configured as an ultra-low power, extremely small and ultra-efficient single core configuration, or as up to four cores in a more performant cluster. In a typical mobile configuration, the Cortex-A35 consumes less than 90mW at 1 GHz which makes it the lowest power 64-bit processor for next generation smartphones.
