13 February: Gen-Z Consortium Announces the Public Release of its Core Specification 1.0 Today’s hyperconnected world demands new levels of performance and scalability to analyze and process vast amounts of data in real-time. Open standards, such as Gen-Z, of which Arm is an original member, are key to delivering the compute and storage infrastructure solutions required to address this challenge.
5 February: ONF Unveils Breakthrough CORD, MEC & 5G Innovations at MWC Arm's collaboration with ONF will deliver the CORD proof of concept, showcasing how Arm enables the critical IP and software required for secure, highly interconnected and distributed computing.
5 February: Ampere Launches to Accelerate Hyperscale Cloud Computing Innovations Ampere processors offer a modern architecture with a unique, high performance, custom core Armv8-A 64-bit server operating at up to 3.3 GHz, 1TB of memory at a power envelope of 125 watts. The processors are sampling now and will be in production in the second half of the year.
31 January: Synopsys Announces Verification IP and Test Suite for Arm AMBA ACE5 and AXI5 Synopsys announced availability of its Verification IP and source code Test Suite for Arm AMBA ACE5 (AXI Coherency Extensions) and AXI5. Synopsys has collaborated with Arm to deliver the next-generation ACE5 and AXI5 VIP with increased performance for faster verification closure.
25 January: Samsung Strengthens its Foundry Customer Support with New SAFE Foundry Ecosystem Program Samsung launches its Samsung Advanced Foundry Ecosystem (SAFE) program. As a SAFE partner, Arm will help enable the ecosystem with access to leadership co-optimized IP solutions for next-generation SoC designs.

20 December: Khronos Group Releases NNEF 1.0 Standard for Neural Network Exchange Khronos Group, an open consortium for advanced acceleration standards, of which Arm is a member, announced the release of the Neural Network Exchange Format (NNEF™) 1.0 Provisional Specification for universal exchange of trained neural networks between training frameworks and inference engines.

16 October: NXP Announces New Automotive Processing Platform that Brings Future Vehicles to Market Faster The NXP S32 automotive processing platform for connected, electric and autonomous vehicles features Arm Cortex-A, Cortex-R, and Cortex-M architecture. The platform will enable carmakers to bring in-vehicle experiences and automated driving functions to market faster.
