We also demonstrate best practices when it comes to sustainability, with carbon reduction programs in place and a continued focus on transparency, reporting, and good governance.
Our business practices reflect our core values of fairness, openness, and integrity. These values dictate how we govern the company, how we treat our people, how we engage with local communities, and how we transact business across our value chain.
Arm’s Supplier Code of Conduct (“Code”) describes our sustainability requirements for our suppliers. Arm requires suppliers to commit to this Code as a condition of doing business with us.
United Nations Global Compact LEAD
We are proud to be part of the UN Global Compact (UNGC), the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. Our active participation demonstrates our commitment to achieving a better, fairer world in which technology and economic growth advance the sustainable development of communities everywhere. Arm is a member of the LEAD program, which represents the cutting edge of the UNGC and comprises businesses selected for their high level of engagement.
Declaration of Human Rights
Arm has signed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our Human Rights Policy is incorporated in our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. This is in addition to related existing policies including those on business ethics, and discrimination.
The wider Arm community includes our Partners within the broader ecosystem, our suppliers and the local communities in which we have offices and work from day to day. We are constantly seeking to support strong communities across our global business.
At the heart of our approach to building and maintaining trust is the way in which we build trust with our local communities. Our local community programmes operate across all our global offices, investing in the most critical social issues affecting the communities in which our people live and work.
Team Arm is the employee engagement program designed to encourage employees across our offices globally to raise money and volunteer their time and skills to benefit our local communities and wider society.
Decisions on which issues to address and which organisations to support are made at the local office level. We believe that the people best placed to understand social needs and to deliver the most effective solutions are those that are active in the community at the local level. We work closely with local partners and encourage collaboration amongst local business communities to leverage our own support for the greatest possible impact.
This means that Arm supports a diverse range of issues around the world and a large number of, mostly small, organisations delivering transformative interventions, improving lives and building stronger and more inclusive communities.
