Professor Simon McIntosh Smith is a computer scientist focused on high performance computing (HPC), parallel programming languages and fault tolerant computing. He is Head of the High Performance Computing (HPC) research group at the University of Bristol and lead researcher at the Isambard GW4 Tier 2 HPC Centre.
