Applies to: Eclipse, RealView Development Suite (RVDS) 3.1, RealView Development Suite (RVDS) 3.1 Professional

To update the Eclipse Plug-in for RVDS you will need to take the following steps: 

  1. Launch Eclipse IDE

  2. Select Help → Software Updates → Find and Install...

  3. From the Install/Update dialog, select Search for updates of the currently installed features. Click Next. (You may be prompted to select from a list of Mirror Sites for other Eclipse feature updates.  Select an appropriate mirror site and click OK).

  4. An Updates dialog box should appear listing Eclipse features which can be updated. Select the Eclipse Plug-in for RealView Development Suite Update Site to install the ARM Eclipse Updates.

  5. In the Install dialog box read the ARM license agreement and accept it. If you do not accept the license agreement, you cannot install the Eclipse plug-in update(s). Click Next, and then click Finish.

  6. In the Verification dialog box, verify that the digital signature is valid and click Install. Eclipse updates the Eclipse Plug-in for RVDS.

  7. Eclipse requests your permission to restart. Click Yes to restart Eclipse. The Eclipse Plug-in for RVDS has now been updated.

You can enable automatic updates in the Preferences panel. To display the preferences panel, select Window → Preferences... from the Eclipse main menu.
