downarrowWhich versions of RVCT for BREW will my license file enable?
Applies to: RealView Compilation Tools (RVCT) for BREW, Tool Licensing (License Management)

A RealView Compilation Tools (RVCT) for BREW 3.0 license will enable the use of RVCT for BREW 3.0 and RVCT for BREW 1.2. An RVCT for BREW 1.2 license will enable the use of RVCT for BREW 1.2 only.

Customers who upgrade to RVCT for BREW 3.0 can still make use of RVCT for BREW 1.2 after deleting their original RVCT for BREW 1.2 license file following the upgrade of their tools (see link below). However, the license file for RVCT for BREW will not enable the use of the compilation tools provided as part of a full copy of RealView Development Suite (RVDS) or ARM Developer Suite (ADS). Similarly, the license file for RealView Development Suite (RVDS) or ARM Developer Suite (ADS) will not enable the use of RVCT for BREW.
