Symptom:

When connecting to a debug target with the CP.BCD file selected, RVD displays many warning messages in the console window. For example:

Warning: Duplicate register enumeration definition 'E_ID'
Warning: Duplicate register enumeration definition 'E_ENABLE'
Warning: Duplicate register enumeration definition 'E_BUSY'
Warning: Map-Rule 'R_nREMAP': register not found: 'B_REMAP_A'
Warning: Undefined register 'B_REMAP_A'
Warning: Map-Rule 'R_REMAP': register not found: 'B_REMAP_A'
Warning: Undefined register 'B_REMAP_A'
Warning: Failed on Advanced info: MemoryRules=2
Warning: Overlapping un-controlled memory region 'M_REMAP_FLASH (Boot)' and 'M_REMAP_SSRAM (SSRAM)'
Warning: Memory map overlaps with existing mapping(s).

Cause:

The Board Chip Definition (BCD) file for Integrator/CP contains a number of duplicate entries, which cause these warning messages.

Solution:

Rename your old CP.BCD file to CP.BAK. Download the replacement CP.BCD file from this web page, and save it to your BCD file directory. On Windows PCs, the default installation folder for BCD files is similar to the following (build and version number folders may differ in your installation):

C:\Program Files\ARM\RVD\Core\3.0\675\win_32-pentium\etc
