downarrowWhat is Cycle Accurate trace?
Applies to: ARM Developer Suite (ADS), AXD Trace, Trace Debug Tools (TDT)

The trace window displays an index or cycle count relative to a trigger point. When cycle accurate tracing is enabled the difference between two indexes is equivalent to number of cycles the second instruction took to execute. When it is not enabled the index numbers in trace window are arbitrary and do not provide useful information.
