downarrowCan I specify which test chip I want on my ARM development board?
Applies to: Core Modules, Core Tiles, Integrator, Versatile

[New, 11 July 2006]

Due to the variable nature of some ARM CPU test chip parameters (please see FAQ: 'Features and performance of ARM Test Chips are subject to change' for a full explanation) some customers ask whether they can specify a set of test chip features or operating parameters that they would like, when placing an order for a board.

This is not possible since boards are made in batches and our warehouses typically contain boards made with only one batch of test chips at any point in time.

It should however be possible for us to state which test chip type is fitted to boards that are currently shipping from a warehouse. If this is important to you, please request this information before placing your order.
