The Cortex-A17 processor offers a greater than 60% performance uplift over the widely-adopted Cortex-A9 processor at the same clock frequency, and can be scaled to higher frequencies. This high performance is delivered while improving the efficiency in both performance per milliwatt, and performance per mm2. The Cortex-A17 processor is scalable up to four cores, each containing a fully out-of-order pipeline delivering peak performance.
