Companies developing Integrated Circuits using ARM IP and who will eventually require manufacturing rights can register at http://designstart.arm.com/. Click “Register” and complete the registration form. You will receive a response from ARM DesignStart Licensing within 3-5 business days. Once qualified, approved applicants may receive initial access to ARM Physical IP library program front-end views and other products or files that you are entitled to download from ARM. Other registrants may require additional qualification. To enter the secure area of the DesignStart website, please click “Login” to enter your user ID and password.
After you receive your DesignStart registration acceptance, please log in and review all the FAQs. The FAQs provide information on licensing ARM IP, downloading products and product notifications, IP comparison, usage reporting and submitting technical and business requests. Please email the global DesignStart Licensing team pipd-ds-licensing@arm.com if additional information is needed.
No. Your User ID and individual ARM Account is non-transferable and cannot be used by other employees within your organization. Those employees who wish to gain access to the ARM DesignStart website should register for their own individual ARM account.
DesignStart registered users will periodically receive an email from ARM with a reactivation link. Please click on the link to reactivate your login account. Please contact us at registration@arm.com if you experience any difficulty reactivating your account.
For academics and research organizations, front-end views of ARM Physical IP libraries are normally obtained from regional centers that may be able to work with you to access the library directly. These entities are regional centers of design excellence in selected government funded or college funded institutions. Below is a list of ARM authorized MPW design centers:
