Sharp Netwalker PC-Z1

Sharp Corporation have announced a new mobile internet device to the Japanese market, the Netwalker PC-Z1. The new Netwalker is as easy to handle as a mobile phone but with the performance similar to that of a PC. The PC-Z1 features a quick launch function (approx. 3 seconds) enabling users to conveniently check e-mail while on the road. It also boasts a long battery life with running time of approximately 10 hours. Other features include, a 5-inch touch-screen LCD, full keyboard, runs Ubuntu Linux 9.04 OS and has 4GB of integrated flash memory for storing data. Sharp are also planning to provide a variety of content for the PC-Z1, such as; language and specialized-field dictionaries, novels and comics, thus enabling the PC-Z1 to be used as an electronic dictionary and e-book.
      
The Sharp NetWalker PC-Z1 is said to be launched in Japan on September 25th and will retail for 44,800 yen.
