Nexvision have produced the NexDome an IP network video security camera which is said to target large area surveillance applications such as public transportation, utility plants and medical centers. The Nexdome Dragonfly is based on TI's DaVinci technology using the dual-core TMS320DM644x architecture, which creates a versatile video security solution that can be tailored to meet specific customer demands. The Nexdome Dragonfly features a 360 degree X180 immersive lens on a high resolution five megapixel CMOS 1/1.8 inch sensor, enabling the user to view a full scene or zoom in through a virtual pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) display without ruining the image quality. Other features include; Linux, MPEG4 and real-time streaming network protocols, video decoders, amplifiers, power LDOs, power DC/DC switches, USB switch and more.
