Western Digital My Book Pro Edition

Description:

Western Digital’s My Book™ Pro Edition external hard drive with triple interface combines three leading external hard drives on one drive for maximum performance and universal connectivity. Designed to work on both Macintosh® computers and PCs, this drive includes powerful EMC Retrospect Express backup and recovery software, a unique Capacity Gauge LED, capacities up to 500 GB and a 3-year warranty.

The rounded edges and silver finish of the My Book’s plastic case give it the style of a glossy, medium-sized book, but the circular blue activity LED on its “spine” gives you important information. For example, the indicator area lets you know at a glance how much remaining storage is available (in 17 percent increments of total capacity), although activating this feature requires installing an OS X driver.
