Luminary Micro Links Up With Japanese Tools Partner Luminary Micro, a member of the ARM Connected Community, has teamed up with Arrow UEC, its Japanese distributor, to provide support for major tool vendor companies in Japan. Japanese tool vendors who have committed support for Luminary Micro Stellaris microcontroller products includes ARM KK, which provides support for the ARM Cortex-M3 architecture. In addition, Andor System Support provides ARM Cortex-M3 training courses as ARM ATC (Authorized training Center). It also develops software, boards, and systems and provides Cortex-M3-based JTAG (boundary scan) test systems and consultation. AXE, Inc., provides Keil C-compiler and debug software tools (MicroDevelopment Toolkit for ARM). It also develops software. IAR Systems K.K. provides IAR C-compiler and debugger software tools (Embedded Workbench for ARM), along with the PowerPAC RTOS, middleware, and JLINK ICE. It also develops software and systems. Sophia Systems provides Sophia JTAG-ICE with support for flash memory programming, along with development of software and systems. Yokogawa Digital Computer Corporation provides advicePRO JTAG-ICE, ARM RealView compiler and debug software. It also provides the development of software and systems, and is an authorized training center for the ARM Cortex-M3 training course. Luminary Micro said it is planning to continue to expand the collaboration with the most capable third parties to provide Japanese customers with the best service available.
