Samsung Windows Mobile 6.1 Upgrade For ARM Based Smartphone

Samsung has confirmed that the Samsung SCH-i760 on Verizon Wireless can be upgraded to the latest version of Microsoft’s mobile operating system – Windows mobile 6.1.

The downloadable upgrade, which is said to take around 10 minutes to download, includes a number of features, such as a zoom facility on web pages, YouTube video support, threaded SMS and a task manager, better navigation and increase security.

Debuted last autumn, the Samsung SCH-i769 is built on the Samsung ARM-based S3C2442 processor. Its innovative design features two separate keypads, numerical on top and QWERTY on the bottom, together with a click-pad.
