TRANGO Compliance With OTMP Security Specification On ARM TRANGO Virtual Processors, a member of the ARM Connected Community, said that it is the first member company in the Open Mobile Terminal Platform (OMTP) organization to submit a Product Profile Statement for the new Advanced Trusted Environment (TR1) recommendation, which establishes security requirements for mobile devices. By allowing multiple execution environments to run simultaneously and securely on single and multi-core processors, the TRANGO Hypervisor provides support for OMTP TR1 profiles 1 and 2. The product is available immediately on several architectures including the ARMv5/ARMv6/v7. "The work on the part of OMTP and member companies in bringing out the Advanced Trusted Environment (ATE) recommendations has been substantial." said Tim Raby, Managing Director at OMTP. "The commitment to these recommendations has been demonstrated by Trango Virtual Processors through the profiles they have submitted. Their active contribution assists in the production of high quality recommendations". “In establishing a thorough and well thought out foundation for carriers, OEMs, content providers, and suppliers to work within, the OMTP organization has created a framework that will serve the mobile community well for many years to come,” added commented TRANGO’s Chief Operating Officer Pierre Coulombeau.
