PHYTEC Debuts phyCORE-LPC3250 For ARM9 SBC

PHYTEC, a member of the ARM Connected Community, has rolled out phyCORE-LPC3250 Single Board Computer (SBC) subassembly.

The phyCORE-LPC3250 is an ARM9 based, small form factor (70x58 mm), OEMable module complete with NXP LPC3250 microcontroller.

The LPC3250 can operate in ultra-low-power mode down to 0.9V. The power management, Floating Point Unit, and peripherals, including SD/SDIO, USB OTG, Ethernet, SDRAM, NOR and NAND Flash memory, and integrated LCD controller make this module suitable for for embedded applications requiring feature-rich high performance and low power consumption, PHYTEC said.

The phyCORE-LPC3250 is being targeted at consumer, industrial, medical, and automotive applications. The on-board MMU supports major operating systems, including Linux and Windows Embedded CE R2.

The phyCORE-LPC3250 Rapid Development Kits will be available July 2008.
