Embest Debuts Linux Board With IDE Interface

Embest has rolled out its third single board computer, the SBC2410-III, integrating Samsung’s ARM9 S3C2410A SoC.
The application ready board is part of Embest’s SBC2410 family.  It integrates the Samsung ARM9 SoC with an ultra compact kernel board mounted directly on top of a carrier board.

The SBC2410-III board is implemented by the kernel board providing most of the functions, and the carrier board providing connectors and several additional functions.

The kernel board incorporates a S3C2410A CPU, 64Mbyte Nand Flash and, 32Mbyte SDRAM. The carrier board has a number of different ports and peripherals, including USB host, UDB device, ethernet interface and LCD interface. The SBC2410-III supports both Linux and WinCE OS.
