Extech Powered Receipt Printer With Bluetooth & ARM MCU

Extech Instruments is shipping the Andes3, ultra lightweight, heavy duty, portable receipt/label printer with Bluetooth.

The petit printer, powered by a Lithium-Ion battery cartridge, incorporates a highly integrated ARM7 32 bit microcontroller. The Flash based Integrated CPU contains firmware, resident fonts, rotated fonts, downloadable fonts, graphics, multiple logos, and bar codes (Linear and 2-D).  Internal and external memory –includes  - 4MB Flash and 1MB SRAM memory under direct user control.

Multiple Communication Interfaces on the Andes3 include IrDA, Bluetooth and 802.11b/g.
