Bluegiga Ships Petit Bluetooth Access Point

Bluegiga, headquartered in Finland, are the AP3201, a petit Bluetooth access point for advance Bluetooth applications.

The access point is based on an ARM9 processor clocked to 200MHz, and is equipped with 32MB RAM and 16MB flash. Connectivity includes an Ethernet port, as well as a USB 2.0 connection and support for dongle options that include 3GSM/GPRS, WiFi, or a second Bluetooth radio. The device is equipped with a 9-24V power supply.     
                                                                              
AP3201 utilizes Bluegiga's iWRAP Bluetooth software platform together with Bluegiga's Linux distribution, enabling integrators and developers to adapt the device simply into any Bluetooth networking application. It is also capable of utilizing Bluegiga Solution Manager (BSM) environment, enabling network managers and administrators to manage, configure and monitor Access Points remotely.

 The AP3201 comes with either an integrated or external antenna.
