ARM Based $99 Mini Notebook Arrives

The J-Pro JL700 from Jointech, described as a mini-notebook, is an ARM based device weighing in at just 680 grams.

Hong Kong based Jointech said the device is targeted at "business, education, entertainment and home use,”.

The device’s configuration includes an ARM9-based processor from the Samsung stable plus 64MB RAM and 64MB flash ROM (expandable to 8GB with a flash dongle) and a VGA interface and three USB ports. The device runs Windows CE 5.0 and has a standard QWERTY layout and a touch pad.
