Ashling Development Tools For ARM Powered Devices

Ashling Microsystems has debuted a range of development tools for ARM architecture.

The tool kit comprises of a JTAG debug probe (Opella-XD) and an updated version of Ashling’s flagship “PathFinder” Source Debugger. In addition, ARM RDI drivers (Windows) and GDB server (Windows/Linux) allow Opella-XD to work with a range of debuggers from ARM (RealView), GNU/Eclipse, IAR (C-Spy) and Keil (uVision), the company said.

A built-in macro language allows automation of repetitive tasks and target flash programming support for a broad range of devices is provided.

All popular ARM™ C/C++ compilers are supported including ARM RealView, Ashling AsIDE, GNU GCC, Green Hills Software, IAR, Keil, Wind River and all other ELF/DWARF compliant compilers, the company said.

The products have been developed at Ashling’s Design Centre in Trivandrum, Kerala, India where the company is rapidly expanding our development team.
