President Of Cryptography Research Keynote At ARM DevCon
Paul Kocher, president of Cryptography Research, a company which specialises in solving complex data security problems, will
be the guest speaker at the fourth annual ARM Developers' Conference in the US next month.
Kocher has designed numerous cryptographic applications and protocols which are successfully deployed in real world systems.
His accomplishments include discovering timing attacks and Differential Power Analysis (including techniques for preventing
against these vulnerabilities), helping author the widely used SSL 3.0 standard, and leading the design of the record-breaking
DES Key Search machine. He has recently focused on developing anti-piracy technologies for securing digital content.
Kocher will be presenting on the challenges associated with developing secure systems that combat today’s sophisticated and
destructive software and hardware attacks.
ARM CEO Warren East will open the ARM Developers’ Conference 2007 and provide an overview of ARM’s strategies and a roadmap
for the future.
Warren East and Paul Kocher’s presentations will take place on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. PDT
