The Intuitive Sound Management (ISM) leverages Syfx’s IQFi algorithm with a compander to address an increasingly annoying problem that TV and movie watchers experience, having to constantly increase and decrease the volume while watching a movie.  While most TVs offer Audio setting features, 99% of users never use them because they are complicated or inconvenient.  With Syfx's ISM, users can use their existing remote controls to adjust the audio setting for night time listening, where speech intelligibility and not waking up the kids or neighbors is most important.  This setting does not muffle the sound or distort the sound quality.  With a simple adjustment of the volume control, users can revert to full (or expanded) dynamic range to enjoy a movie theater's experience.
