Introduction  

MPEG-2 audio, defined in ISO/IEC 13818-3, can decode up to 5.1 channels. It is backwards-compatible (also known as MPEG-2 BC), allowing MPEG-1 audio decoders to decode the two main stereo components. The MP2 Multichannel decoder from AllGo is fully standards compliant, highly optimized and production proven.
