G.722.2 uses an increased audio bandwidth of 50 – 7000 Hz for improved intelligibility and naturalness of speech.  G.722 is used for HD Voice over IP (VoIP) and Internet (IP) applications, Mobile Communications, STN applications, ISDN wideband telephony, ISDN videotelephony and video-conferencing. G.722 is available for use with our ARM based HD video conferencing reference design (http://www.vocal.com/system-designs/hd-video-reference-design/)
