AuthenTec’s advanced downloadable digital rights management (DRM) client solution is an industry standards-based content protection solution for Android-based phones and tablets as well as Apple iOS-based devices including Apple’s iPhone and iPad. AuthenTec’s downloadable DRM Fusion Agent allows operators to more quickly deploy secure content services and to limit license fees only to clients who opt for premium services, dramatically reducing DRM implementation costs and time to market. This enables media companies and high-value content providers to more quickly achieve revenue from service deployment by eliminating dependence on mobile phone and device manufacturers for embedded DRM protection.

The downloadable DRM Fusion Agent is a robust client software solution designed for ARM devices enabling the use of DRM protected content on the iPhone, iPad and Android-based devices. It can be integrated with existing applications or used as the basis for new branded media applications.

The downloadable DRM Fusion Agent can be deployed with Microsoft PlayReady, Windows Media DRM, OMA DRM 2.X, and/or UltraViolet support, based on project requirements. The product supports HLS, Smooth Streaming, MPEG-DASH as well as video file downloads.
