Product Description

Red Bend's vDirect Mobile® is an OMA-DM compliant and interoperable device management client for mobile phones, connected devices and machine-to-machine (M2M) modules. It is used to provision new subscribers, configure applications and network settings, manage software, retrieve device information and deliver firmware over the air (FOTA) updates on ARM-based mobile devices.

vDirect Mobile allows manufacturers and operators to remotely manage mobile devices in the field. It is standards-based software that works with any Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) device management (DM) server and has passed interoperability tests (IOT) with nearly 20 DM server vendors. As the leading independent DM client, vDirect Mobile enables manufacturers and operators to break the dependency of closed DM systems.

vDirect Mobile has been pre-integrated with many ARM-based chipset platforms, so that semiconductor vendors can enable their OEM devices to more quickly bring to market mobile devices supporting OMA DM standards.
