High speed, low power, small footprint. The Artemis XA270 has been designed using state of the art RISC technology and utilises Marvell’s Xscale™PXA270™ high performance, low-power, high-integration systems-on-a-chip (SOC) processor designed for low power computing applications.
Xscale Technology. The PXA270 processor incorporates the Marvell XScale® technology which complies with the ARM version 5TE instruction set (excluding floating-point instructions) and follows the ARM programmer’s model. DSP Design have taken the Marvell XScale micro architecture and combined it with industry relevant peripherals to provide a platform suitable for multiple applications across various market segments.
Custom Design Options. For volume applications where form factor, feature set or cost are critical DSP Design can design bespoke solutions to your specification, take them through to production and support. By using existing core designs we can provide cost effective solutions and minimise time to market.
Highly Flexible. The small PC/104 form factor product (just 90 x 96mm) features the Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 with Compact Framework 2.0. Applications are developed in C# or Visual Basic using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. The LaunchPad application development kit with tutorial and demo programs allows you to be programming within the day.
