Calxeda's SoC is a quad-core Cortex-A9 supplemented by an on-chip high bandwidth fabric switch for internode communication and I/O multiplexing.   Designed to enable a a complete server node for easy scalability and management, the Calxeda server node consumes only 5 watts of power, including 4GB DRAM.
