The iControl OpenHome Software Platform is a broadband home management software solution enabling broadband service providers, home security companies and utilities to offer interactive life safety and lifestyle services to their customers.

 This software platform integrates monitored home security, home and family monitoring, and home control services with a compelling user experience that provides end users greater peace-of-mind and keeps them connected to the things that matter the most – their home, family and property. 

 The iControl OpenHome™ Software Platform extends the traditional home security feature set to include:

• IP-Enabled Security – broadband ‘always-on’ network connectivity between the security system and central monitoring station.
• Remote Management – mobile and web connectivity for personal monitoring and control of security, lighting, video, energy, locks, and more.
• Interactive Video – Live and event-based video viewable via the mobile phone or web.
• Consumer Experience – iPhone-like widget interfaces that are simple, attractive, and easy-to-use.

• Remote arming/disarming of security system via the web or mobile phone.
• Live video, event-based pictures and video clips.
• Email and text message notifications with event-based picture or video clip attachments.
