Product Description

Embest SBC2416-I is a highly integrated single board computer, It consists of a CPU board Mini2416-I and an expansion board. The Mini2416-I CPU board is mounted onto the expansion board through two 2.0mm pitch 2*42-pin dip connectors.

Its CPU employs 400MHz Samsung S3C2416x which is a 32/16-bit RISC cost-effective, low power, high performance micro-processor solution for general applications including the GPS Navigation and Mobile Phone markets, featuring an upgrade to the ARM926EJ core, the integration of a 2D Graphics Accelerator, an added low power mode, as well as embedded internal ROM/RAM for secure boot, moviNAND booting and low power audio decoding. The SBC2416-I provides multiple memory modes, i.e., 64MB SDRAM, 128MB NANDFLASH, SD card interface, USB interface. It also provides multiple communication interface modes, i.e., 10/100M Ethernet, 3-channel serial port, 1-channel USB Host and 1-channel USB Device. Diverse memory modes and communication modes provide user with more flexible applications for the development.

The board is capable of supporting for WindowsCE 5.0 operating system. Embest provides the software BSP along with documents to help customer start with their development quickly.
