Product Description
FloorDirector is an implementation phase digital design automation tool which works at the floorplan level. It enables ASIC designers to reduce dynamic IR drop and power grid noise in system-on-chip designs, by automated flattening of dynamic current peaks.
The tool combines a static timing engine and advanced dynamic power analysis into a fully automated optimization engine which performs system-level dynamic power shaping to reduce critical current peaks.
