CrossTest gives embedded software developers and testers the ability to automatically create unit tests, execute them on a simulator or on the target device, and analyze test results including code coverage.Developers can expect to cut in half the time they spend testing their code in addition to generating more complete and comprehensive tests.

CrossTest analyses embedded software source code and generates a test harness for the unit under test as specified by the user. Tests may range from a single function to an arbitrary subset of the application to the entire application. Tests can then be downloaded to the target, executed, and the results reported back and checked for correctness.
