The TX03 Series are Toshiba Semiconductor's MCUs based on the ARM Cortex M3 CPU core.
The Toshiba TMPM330/31/32 MCU family combines a powerful 32-bit ARM™ Cortex-M3™ processor core with fast embedded Toshiba NANO FLASH™, on-chip SRAM, real-time clock, watchdog timer 10-bit ADC, I2C, UART, SPI, GPIO, and a hardware CEC controller for connecting to and controlling today’s TV, A/V and home theater systems. Target applications for the TMPM330 are broad and include general control for industrial or consumer applications. The hardware CEC controller is a key feature for A/V devices that need to integrate with the latest TV systems, such as HDMI switches, DVRs, video servers, A/V receivers,
home theater control systems and whole-room remote control devices.
While Toshiba’s TX03 CPUs can operate up to 140MHz, the entry-level TMPM330 series runs at up to 40 MHz, with JTAG and serial wire debugging. The on-chip FLASH and SRAM are available in different sizes from 128KB/8KB to 512KB/32KB. Toshiba’s NANO FLASH technology combines a fast write cycle with small cell size, keeping the die size small and reducing programming time. The 12-channel 10-bit ADC combined with the Cortex M3 CPU and the 10 powerful 16-bit timers enable sophisticated control algorithms. CEC, GPIOs and up to 6 channels of serial I/O provide a wide range of connectivity options.
