The JBlend™ platform is a widely adopted solution for running Java™ applications and services in consumer electronics devices, including mobile phones. It includes a high performance, small footprint Java virtual machine (JVM) for a variety of configurations (CLDC, CDC), profiles (MIDP, DoJa), and extensions (both JSRs as well as operator-specific extensions).

JBlend, in addition, includes necessary porting kits such as Reference Implementation, Device Emulator, and Sample Java applications to be implemented on consumer electronics.
