eCosPro-PEG+ and eCosPro-C/PEG are graphical user interface libraries for the eCosPro RTOS. eCosPro-PEG+ is the C++ API variant of the PEG (Portable Embedded GUI) system, and eCosPro-C/PEG is the C language variant.
The PEG libraries facilitate the development of compelling and intuitive graphical user interfaces for embedded devices. It's the industry's leading GUI middleware product and has been used in hundreds of product designs, including digital audio, telephones, cameras, printers, medical devices, telematics, and aeronautics. In common with eCos, the PEG libraries are small, fast, robust, and easily ported to different hardware designs, and in particular, capable of supporting virtually any configuration of graphics hardware.
eCosPro-PEG's footprint is typically between 100KB and 120KB of code for a full blown GUI, enabling its effective use in small memory, low power and cost constrained designs.
