BitsyXb by Applied Data Systems

Evaluation Board/Reference Designs, etc.

Product Description

The BitsyXb is an embedded single board computer that leverages the power and speed of the Marvell® PXA270 processor while maintaining low power and a small form factor. The BitsyXb provides dynamic (variable) speed, voltage regulation, and includes 5 low power modes which ADS applies in low level software code to make BitsyXb power-stingy and perfect for handheld, wearable, and unmanned applications. The BitsyXb, like its PXA255-based sister product, the BitsyX, is compact and robust with features including ADSmartIO™, and power-thrifty using ADSmartPower™ with partitioning for optimal power usage. ADS systems have been successfully deployed in several battery-backed embedded applications including PDA/handheld, instrumentation, medical monitoring, telematics, and several others. The BitsyXb can be used either as a stand-alone system or configured using a personality board for expandability.
