FM Tuner by Kaben Wireless Silicon Inc.

SoC IP Provider

Product Description

The Kaben FM Tuner is the industry's first low power FM Tuner IP block for integration into an SoC where the digital functions are executed in a companion ARM microprocessor.

The Kaben FM Tuner has an FM operating frequency of 65 to 108 MHz, for reception anywhere in the world.

Operates from any crystal oscillator from 5 to 30 MHz and can eliminate the requirement for a second crystal clock at 32.768 kHz.

High performance is delivered without sacrificing power consumption. The cell operates using 20 mA from a 1.1 V supply.
Optionally, the cell can operate from a 3 V supply with a minimal reduction in efficiency, by means of a switched mode power supply integrated with the tuner block.
