Forte’s Cynthesizer is a high-level SystemC synthesis tool
that is used by system designers to build AMBA-connected
hardware accelerators for computation-intensive parts of the
system. It automatically generates high-quality RTL designs
from reusable, retarget-able C++/SystemC description, and
includes a memory generation subsystem that creates
simulation models and interface protocol code needed to
allow SystemC-based designs to utilize ARM Memory IP. It
reads timing and area data for ARM logic IP in Liberty format
to ensure predictable timing closure across a broad range of
ASIC process technologies supported by ARM logic IP.
Cynthesizer has been used for over 100 chips
and is in production use in many of the largest systems and
semiconductor companies worldwide.
