5V Technologies’ 5VT1310/5VT1312/5VT1314 full-range VoIP and Broadband CPE solutions are composed of market-leading SoftDSP and an ARM926EJS processor operating at 300MHz with a DSP Extension. This powerful combination allows the 5V solution to be at the center of voice and data centric operations in a Broadband CPE network environment.

With 5VT SIP turn-key provided, 5VT1310/5VT1312/5VT1314 VoIP solutions leverage the most advanced SoftDSP with maximum processing power for not only the support of current VoIP standards, but also advanced functionality in a complete-range of VoIP applications such as IP phone, 1/2/4 Port VoIP TA and VoIP router with WLAN access. The SoftDSP feature allows users to have the flexibility in choosing from a wide range of voice codecs. The Soft DSP can handle from the traditional telecom codecs such as G.711, G.723, G.729, to the newer Internet based iLBC from Global IP Sound (GIPS). VoIP System Designers can use one 5V based hardware platform for several different VoIP systems by swapping firmware containing the different codecs.

Beyond the basic VoIP functionality, the 5VT1310 version of this powerful chip family provides the raw high speed computing power for Internet applications such as VDSL IAD or as an 802.11n AP router. When mated with a popular well-known 802.11n RF module, the 5VT1310 based system can provide up to 150Mbps data throughput in a 802.11n AP router application. Likewise, 5V has a reference design for VDSL IAD ready for deployment.
