The SonicsMX is an actively decoupled, non-blocking, intelligent internal interconnect that enables designers to implement multiprocessor SoC architectures using combinations of similar or heterogeneous processing elements. SonicsMX supports AMBA AHB and AXI protocols in addition to OCP, enabling seamless interoperability across a wide set of standard and proprietary IP cores. In addition to the high performance of the non-blocking SonicsMX fabric, SonicsMX is composed of a set of active agents that deliver a wide range of intelligent services, including data width conversion up to 128 bits, frequency conversion, voltage domain management, QoS management, error management, access security, and sideband signaling. Achieve higher design predictability and improved productivity associated with SoC design by outsourcing the SoC interconnect, including the advantages of shifting system-specific functionality from the IP cores into the interconnect.
