Product Description

Technology
The Company offers volume semiconductor production in a world-class 200mm wafer fabrication spanning 13,750 sq meter of manufacturing clean-room area with SMIF environment. The facility is designed to cater up to more than 45,000 wafers per month at full ramp-up capacity for 0.25 µm down to 0.13 µm geometries. 1st Silicon started production of 0.25 µm in Q1 2001 and 0.18 µm qualification in Q1 2003. 0.15 µm technology will go into production in Q3 2005. 0.13 µm flash is currently in final qualification. The company also focuses on niche markets by offering reliable and cost-effective embedded non-volatile, high voltage, CMOS image sensor and CCD processes.

Customers
1st Silicon has developed strong and long-term partnership with SHARP Corporation of Japan, ZMD and ZFOUNDRY of Germany and UniqueICs in Russia. The company's other customers include integrated device manufacturers and fabless semiconductor companies worldwide.

IP/Library
1st Silicon partners with renowned library vendors to provide a comprehensive portfolio of major foundry compatible, process specific libraries and design kits to cater for various design needs from RTL to final GDSII signoff. This high performance user-friendly library is designed not only to ensure fast design process to silicon cycle, but also to provide access to a wide range of circuit application and design-flow implementations with higher hit rates for silicon success. 1st Silicon offers our customer the free library access from our library partners such as Virtual Silicon Technology and ARM with the option of direct technical support from the library vendor to solve various design issues.

Design Verification
1st Silicon provides some of the industry's most comprehensive offering of rule decks and technology files to help the designers with their design verification needs.1st Silicon rule decks and command files are verified and qualified through exhaustive tests and later used for internal GDSII signoff for our customers and vendors.
The varieties of DRC/LVS/LPE Command files to support different EDA Tools need include:
• Mentor Calibre DRC/LVS
• Synopsys Hercules DRC/LVS
• Synopsys Star RC/RCXT
