The Intellectual Property Servicing Centre at Hong Kong Science Parks coordinates with IP providers/vendors (such as ARM, Synopsys etc.) to provide affordable, silicon proven and top quality IP cores to the customers. The centre aims to provide top qualified semiconductor IP at affordable prices and on-site front line technical support, and to assist in developing the Great China IP trading centre for promoting domestic semiconductor IP, in particular the greater China region, to the world.
The centre together with the EDA and Data centre also provides shared and low-cost leading edge EDA tools and state-of-the-art platforms for integrated circuits designs. Through an EDA-on-demand system based on multiple shared licenses, a user can access the latest EDA tools from major EDA and FPGA vendors.
The centres consolidate and arrange regular wafer shuttle schedules with major wafer foundries.
